  1. We are opting to not do this. I've done research and think it's not right for us.
  2. Umbilical cord stem cells can be expanded in the lab so it can be used after 10 years also.... Apart from these it depends on collection of blood if it's like 90 to 100 ml it can be used multiple times ..... Also tissues stem cells are preserved apart from blood which can be used to treat damaged organs which are however in clinical trial.... Apart from child chances of using family members are extremely low and can only be used if HLA results are same...
  3. I wanted t o save my babys umbilical cord but I wanted to do it for my dad who was diagnose with diabetes, and he finds out today if he has cancer, will this help my dad or did he have to be under the age of ten in order to receive the blood cord treatment????

  11. I'm going to be going to school to be a midwife, and personally my favorite option is to just do delayed coard cutting. All that amazing blood goes into you babies little body FOR FREE!!! That's how they always did it back it the day but now it's easier for doctors to just cut it right away because they wanna get tests done right
